Hi, I’m Owen Hagopian, a mechanical engineering graduate with a love for problem-solving and product development.

I'm a mechanical engineering graduate from Northeastern University seeking product development or similar mechanical engineering positions in the greater Boston area. I’ve completed two six-month co-ops and am excited to find a new full-time opportunity where I can apply my interest in problem-solving, learning new skills, and delivering creative solutions to real-world challenges.

During my first co-op at Datum3D as a Product Development Engineer, I took ownership of multiple projects, communicated directly with clients, and gained hands-on experience with various manufacturing methods, including FDM 3D printing and CNC machining.

In my second co-op at Formlabs as a Settings Optimization Engineer, I developed and fine-tuned material settings for next-generation SLA 3D printers. I contributed to the launch of the Form 4 and 4L by printing and testing complex geometric designs that could cause failures. By launch day, my work helped ensure that over 80% of the previous generation’s print volume was covered by our available material settings.

Below is a look at some of the work I’ve completed during my time at Northeastern and on co-op.
